Has anyone ever heard of a “once in a lifetime clause”? It means if you win the lotto or have a situation deamed once in a lifetime you get out of your service… It wasn’t fair that it didn’t pertain to this situation before… The Army got this one right…

He says he “might” persue a career as an officer after football. He doesn’t seem to be being himself. He seems to be trying too hard to say the right thing. I don’t detect sincerity in his words.

the lions lost a draft pick in all of this too… i don’t mind the decision just the timing… they should’ve had this figured out b4 the draft… and the new policy shouldn’t have affected him siince they strung him along- just ppl in the future

naruto you sound like a typical brain washed liberal. Military service is an honor. The man signed a contract with the Army. as far as your drizzle about false pretenses Iraq did fire at our jets. Iraq did have huge chemical weapons abilities. Iraq did have missiles retrofitted for chemical weapons. Iraq did violate atleast 72 of the agreed ceasefire. But facts don’t matter just keep your head in sand and ballot marked democrat.

Hopefully this is not the end of Campbell’ss career. I look forward for the big thngs he will do in his future with the league because as Millen said he will get his chance some where down the line. I am glad we have people like Campbell without our soldiers we would not even have the right to watch football let alone live the great world we live today. I am disappointed though that he found out from Millen when he went to sign his contract and not form the military themself.

garand, your right he did sign a contract that has a clause that states when one goes professional in a field they will be released. So, they failed to uphold their end of the agreement. Oh also, I was there for initial invasion and all we found were some scud missiles. So, stop coming of like a brain washed conservative. Cpl. J G Wentworth USMC
