Next to Jabbar’s sky hook, his turnaround fadeaway (before his decline in later years) was the most un-defendable and piercingly effective offensive shot ever IMHO. In his prime it was absolutely sick. Next to MJ, he was my favorite player, so for an eight year run I really liked watching the finals. I almost didn’t mind MJ playing baseball once I realized it meant two rings for Hakeem. Great, great player…

@rumrumtanneo u cant say that at all cuz they never met in the finals they only made it 2 the finals in 94 and 95 in the 90’s in they played in the west not east so u cant make that staement but i promise u i think they were the only team that could beat the bulls in the finals had they made it in 97 or 98

I was at that game when Hakeem ran down the court and blocked Kevin Johnson’s breakaway dunk attempt. No other center could have run down and blocked that shot.
